| NOTE FOR DANCE CAMP: We do not require that you purchase dance attire or shoes for dance camp. If you have dance attire, that’s great. Otherwise, please wear modest athletic clothing that you can dance in. No short shorts or low-cut shirts. Bring sneakers for hip-hop. |
The dress code is an important part of Rez Dance. It promotes excellence, discipline, and modesty in dance. Please take a few moments to review the dress code and make sure your child comes properly attired to class. Proper shoes are essential for dance. Shoes protect our dancer’s feet and help develop good technique. If your child has outgrown her shoes, please donate them to our borrow box. Please also make sure your child’s hair is up in a ponytail, braids, bun, or clipped back if hair is short. Feel free to contact Melissa at rezdance.com with any questions concerning the dress code.

Additionally, dancewear can be purchased at any local dance supply store. However, we do not recommend ballet shoes from discount retailers such as Target, Walmart, and Payless. These are often poor quality shoes that do not allow the dancers to pointe their feet properly.
